Hawthorn strawberry jam

Hawthorn strawberry jam

Yesterday, I saw that the strawberry seller was very cheap and bought some. As a result, when I was doing my hair in the afternoon, I didn't pay attention to the strawberries and ruined them. Strawberries were not easy to store, so I prepared to make strawberry jam. Later, I suddenly remembered that I also bought some dried hawthorn and took them with me on a whim. Unexpectedly, the taste was very good. The smell of hawthorn and strawberry also attracted bees. (PS: don't mind if you don't get the photo because it's a whim)

-- Cooking Steps --
Step 1 . First wash the strawberries, cut them into small pieces, put in an appropriate amount of sugar and stir them, (you can adjust the amount of sugar according to the acidity and sweetness of strawberries and your own taste) let the water stand. I put it all night because it was late the first day, and cooked it the next morning
Step 2 . While placing strawberries, soak an appropriate amount of dry Hawthorn in warm water, and then cut into small particles. If conditions permit, dry hawthorn and grind it into powder.
Step 3 . Consider whether you need to add water according to the water output of strawberries. Because it was left overnight, I didn't add water. I boiled it over a high fire and added Hawthorn Seeds. In order to control the temperature, I specially used an electromagnetic oven to boil it over a slow fire. I can also use others without a microwave oven. As long as the fire is controlled to a low fire, don't get through it. Be sure to remember to use a wooden spoon to stir and avoid pasting the pot
Step 4 . When it is thick, add lemon juice and continue to stir. When the strawberry jam starts to hang the spoon, you can turn off the fire and bottle it. Remember to disinfect the container with hot water and control the water dry. After the strawberry jam is bottled, put the bottle mouth down for a while, and then put it in the refrigerator. When you want to eat, take it out and dig a spoon, sour and sweet. (if you don't like particles, you can beat it a little to make it more delicate)
